Lots of cool stuff!

Well, maybe this stuff is cool for me and Chris...

Well I took Brady for his 6 month check-up this past week! He now weighs 17.4lbs and is 27 inches long. He's in the 75th percentile for height (compared to full term 6 month old babies). This makes me very happy, I love my roots but I do NOT love being short. I am hoping that this means that Brady will take after Chris' side of the family and be on the taller side! He's in the 50th percentile for his weight... tall and skinny, yup sounds like he's going to take after Chris!!!!

The dr. also told us that we no longer have to give Brady the Zantac for his reflux! Today was the first day that he didn't have it and he did GREAT!

Also, Brady is back to rolling over... except I really think he doesn't want me to see him do it (he's probably afraid that I am going to scream again). When he wakes up in the morning he will roll over from his belly to his back. I guess this is his way of saying, "there's no turning back... i'm awake!" Hopefully I will get to see him do it again soon!

A few weeks ago Chris and I were at Target and we bought this really cool baby food made by Ella's Kitchen. Its organic, of course and Brady loves it! We gave him some last night for the first time (not his first time having food, just his first time having this brand). He LOVED it...I could not get the food into his mouth fast enough! It was really good (we tasted it). It was pumpkin, sweet potato, apple, & blueberries... yum yum yum! We bought a whole bunch of other kinds too but we have to give him the same food 3 days in a row to make sure he isn't allergic. He has never had blueberries before so he had some more today and he will have some tomorrow too!

Oh yeah, the dr also said that we can start Brady on meats (beef & chicken). I just can't imagine feeding him that jar chicken so while we were at Whole Foods last night we picked up some organic chicken to make some chicken for us to freeze! I don't mind everything else that's in the jar I just can't do the meat (not saying I won't change my mind, but he might not like the jar stuff after getting organic!). Well, I better run... the chicken is boiling and almost ready to be pureed!

XO
Jill
